Tucked into a Showa-era building near Hinodecho Station, AntiPop is a tiny 13-seat rock bar built for anything louder than pop — punk, metal, hardcore and industrial, with the owner's touchstones running from The Clash to Metallica and Rammstein. The counter-and-table space keeps a calm, nostalgic mood that even got a shout-out in a Crazy Ken Band song about the neighborhood. Behind the bar, the focus turns to premium 100% agave tequila, from Cuervo 1800 Reposado to Cazadores Añejo, poured neat, on the rocks or mixed.
